Santa Train Ride

Took Cian and Rhi on the Santa Express train ride in New Hope. The boys got to ride on a train, we had hot cocoa and cookies, Santa and Mrs Claus stopped by and we sang Christmas carols. If this didn't put you in the Christmas spirit, you are a grinch!

The boys hanging out together watching Nemo...
You would never know they are on the floor of a bar, right? Great parenting!

Santa Visit

So Cian is just not a fan of Santa. This was last year's Santa visit:

We were hoping this year would go a little better. Cian knows who Santa is now and talks about Santa bringing toys. But we were wrong. One look at Santa and he wanted nothing to do with sitting on his lap, which is how I ended up in the picture.

I felt horrible making this poor screaming child pose for a picture. Mom of the year. The look on my face "am I really doing this to my poor child?" and "Don't judge me". Sigh.

So Cian isn't alone in his fear of Santa, Josie and Wilbur also took a crying picture with Santa.

Our Christmas Card

Here is our 2014 Christmas card. Shocking that we got such a great picture of Cian.... this little toddler boy was in a mood for poor Beth. Maybe gave 3 smiles and 150 snarky looks. Ah, life with a soon to be 3 year old. Wouldn't change a thing, we love this little boy to the moon and back. Even when being a little "spicy"!

Christmas Photo Shoot

The day after Thanksgiving we were able to get all the cousins together (in matching pjs!) for a little Christmas photo shoot... Four kids under the age of 3 all sat still long enough for pictures  - it was a Christmas miracle! Although one little boy was not into having his picture taken...

Nice scary smile Cian. Even Jackson is like "dude, what is the matter with you?"
getting closer to a smile...
OK, no smiles but this is adorable! Our tough guys...

look at this cutie! such the ham

Thanksgiving

There is something about Thanksgiving - I take either no pictures or horrible pictures every year. Last year I forgot to take photos. The year before, I took just one photo:

Seriously, how bad is this photo??? Half eaten food and an elbow.

This year, I have FIVE pictures to share to sum up our holiday:
Yep. Managed to get people and food in this picture. But please note the only thing in focus is the sippy cup.
Getting better! Maybe next year I'll get everyone in the picture

Sigh. Snow already?

these two had a blast - too freaking cute!

Fall 2014 School Pictures!

It's that time of year again AND we finally got a smile. A little one at least! Now to work on the hair - it looks like someone cut the front with hedging clippers!

yep- that's our boy! The only one not looking!

garage updates

Listen, I know I have an organization problem. But Brian has been converted as well. So, when making fun of me for being so anal, be sure to include Brian now. Thank you.

Our garage needed some attention. Needed a big clean out. Unfinished drywall needed to be painted. We needed to use all the space above to store items during the winter so my car could fit in the garage during snow storms. And we needed better storage on the sides walls.

Before: love the little cluster of beer bottles in the middle of the floor- ha ha
After! Walls painted. Had ceiling shelving installed for winter storage. And we donated a bunch of stuff to goodwill, helping with the clutter. So nice and organized!
Before: The left side wall
After
Before: horrible tool rack
After: Moved the tools to the right wall and now we have storage for Cian's stuff

After: Notice the door? My favorite part. Painted the door and stairs black. Love it!

Before Right side wall. Bad storage
After: much better! (OK, its hung a little too high. That's my bad. Never let me make these decisions!)
