Christmas Day we went up to Noel and Kristin's house to celebrate with all of the Blairs and Henny and JB. Its fun to watch Jackson and Cian play together and interact. They have a lot of fun together. All of the adults just sit around and watch the boys, they are our entertainment. I really need to remember to take pictures of adults! I swear there was a house full!
Jackson giving Cian another train
another box to play with
playing with Jackson's roller coaster
Cian trying out the roller coaster-
Brian trying out the roller coaster
and then I had to try it out
these two boys are loving trains
Jackson's giant ball pit- Cian was in heaven
getting tickles from g-ma
jackson and cian plotting together... "Mommy has all of her good china and crystal on the table, so let's crawl under the table"
Here are a couple pictures from Christmas morning. It was so much fun with Cian this year - he was so surprised to find all of the presents under the tree.
two boys very serious about their legos
nothing beats a box to play with
so we opened most of our presents in the box
Cian was really excited to get a basketball hoop. He is licking the box right now...
How do you entertain a little boy while trying to pack for a trip to north jersey? Styrofoam!
Pop Pop and Grammy came over for Christmas Eve dinner (homemade beef wellington!) and then it was time for bed. Here are a couple of pictures of the beef wellington (cause I'm still in shock at how good these were) and Cian in his Christmas pjs....
The house is all decorated, ready for santa! I had so much fun decorating this year- Cian is such a fun age and loved all of the decorations, especially the lights. This was the first year we didn't have any company, so here are some pictures of the house all decorated!
Such a great tree- 9.5' tall with no bald spots. It looked fake, it was so perfect.
A little craft I made Cian, hoping he would decorate the felt tree and not destroy the real tree.
Mostly the tree looked like this. He loved running by it, tearing everything off.
We are in the "destruction" phase. Boys!
Reindeer food I made (since I got in trouble last year by the McReynolds for not having any)
Cian's favorite part of the decorations- mistletoe!
Hard to see but our front door reads: Santa, Please Stop Here!
The coldest, wettest Army Navy game yet. I am really excited that next year will be in Baltimore, and I will not be attending. I think I will still be thawing out! Even Brian, Jeff and Shannon broke their usual tradition of tailgating into the late hours after the game and came home directly after Navy won. I think some guys are getting a little old....
Brian and Jeff in matching Navy jackets - ahhhhhhh cute!
Dawn, me and Jen - before the snow and freezing rain. It was still cold.
A great picture of the Blue Angels flyover that Joe and Lacey's friends got
update: Saw the Scott's over Christmas where they clarified that their son got this picture from the AP. ha!
me frozen. Watching the game and getting snow in my eyes
At this point, Dawn and I took cover while the guys got soaked.
While we froze our butts off, Cian and Rhielan played in the warm house...
