Joshua's visit
Josh and Christie visited Philly over Thanksgiving. They did a little sight seeing in philly, we enjoyed a super relaxing and quiet Thanksgiving, went to dinner at Teresa's and spent a very cold Saturday in NYC. We had a ton of fun, especially loved getting to know Christie better. Wish we all lived closer : (

Mom and Dad's Visit
Here are some pictures from Mom and Dad's visit - it was perfect timing during my time off between jobs! And Brian and I got to sneak away for a night in Philly to celebrate our 6th anniversary, Brian's job promotion and my new job while Cian got spoiled by his grammie and pa.

Goodbyes and New Adventures
After 10 months of job hunting, 6 months of talking with Lincoln Financial and 6 rounds of interviews - its time to start my new career adventure! After 17 (!) years of working at advertising agencies, I'm going client side. Very excited as I desperately needed a change.
But with new adventures, come goodbyes. And we know how I hate change. And goodbyes. Leaving my job was easy, but saying goodbye to Cian's first daycare was hard. He's been there since he was 3 months old and the place is awesome. He has his little friends (Rhielan, Sean, Andrew, Molly, and Ellington) that he has known since they were all 12 weeks old.
I cried when I had to tell them Cian was leaving. I cried when I had to pack up his stuff. I cried when his teachers gave me this photo album:
With every goodbye, comes a hello. So here's to our new adventures and new friends.

Halloween
Here is Cian's last day at daycare (cry) which was Halloween. Knowing Cian is not into getting dressed up right now (after trying to get him to wear a puppy costume for a month before I returned it), we took the sneaky approach for his costume and dressed him as Clark Kent changing into Superman. He thinks he is just wearing a shirt.... win #1 for mom!

Pumpkin Patch with Jackson
Went up to NJ to visit Kristin, Noel and Jackson for the weekend. We went to a pumpkin patch and enjoyed a hayride, except for Cian. Apparently hayrides are terrifying for him.
Sunday we went to the Bergen County zoo and park. Cian's favorite part: the older kid's slide. He is a dare devil on slides, but hayrides and trains scare him to death.

Red nose and cut due to face plant. Cian didn't want to leave the playground.

Fall Fun ~ Apple Picking
Took the boys apple picking this weekend. Gina and I thought they would enjoy picking some apples. We were wrong. They wanted to do everything else but pick apples. It was still a fun day and the boys had a great time hanging out with each other.
Cian and Rhielan - they loved riding next to each other. Shared books and snacks - it was too cute!
Cian, Gina and Rhi at the petting zoo. Saw lots of pigs, cows, sheep and chickens (Cian's favorite)
Who wants to pick apples when they have a playground to play at?
Or a wooden train to play in?
I don't know why Cian is making these faces...
The boys preferred to throw apples, not pick them. Which made us very loved by the orchard.
Maybe next year they will actually pick some apples.
This is what happens when Cian and Rhielan spend all day together- they go wild!
Here are a couple of cute pics of Cian, playing w/ tasha
