12 months old!

Cian turned one on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013. What an incredible year it has been!

First the stats - At his one year appointment, Cian weighed 23.8 lbs, in the 60-70%. He is 29 and 3/4 inches tall, in the 50%,  and has the head circumference of 19", no big surprise he's in the 90% for that one. The kid has a huge head!

One year ago, Cian weighed 6lb 13 oz so he has gained over 17lbs in a year. He was 20" tall at birth, so he has grown 9 inches. And his head at birth was 13.5", so his head has grown quite a bit too.

Cian is on the move these days. Not much slows him down, he is into everything. Constantly following the cats around, trying desperately to get Tasha. He is so curious, trying to figure out how everything works and pressing buttons on everything and anything. He got the scare of his life when he pressed the button that turned on Roomba- he wasn't expecting a robot vacuum to turn on and start following him! Not a big talker yet, still waiting for the first words beyond dadda and momma. But he is busy pointing at everything, wanting to touch everything.

He is a great eater- loves fruits and veggies. He will eat an entire kiwi in 30 seconds if you let him. Loves ham and chicken and so far, isn't a picky eater as long as its healthy. He eats like a 75 year old man- ham and peas. The kid drools nonstop - its the never ending teething. He goes through shirts and bibs so fast!

Its been such a wonderful year of so many exciting moments, tiring moments, confused moments and happy moments. We wouldn't trade it for the world, we are just so in love with our little boy. Who would have ever thought we would love to just sit around at night and play with him, soaking up every moment.

As much as I love these pictures, I'm so glad they are done! It was impossible to get Cian to sit still for these pictures!
