Happy Birthday Brian!

Monday, April 16th was Brian's 37th birthday. Our first birthday with Cian. Definitely a completely different birthday than years past! No fancy, expensive dinner at Buddakhan or Barclay Prime (sigh, how we missed you wasabi mash potatoes and kobe beef sliders). No bottles of wine were drank. But there was a late night!

Life with a fussy two month old doesn't allow for big birthday bashes. Hopefully next year we will be able to celebrate Brian's birthday with a little more energy! Instead, Brian came home to a fussy boy who wanted his daddy to walk him around the house for hours when he wasn't eating. The flank steak marinating in the refrigerator stayed there for another day when neither of us had the energy or desire to go start the grill. Pizza delivery was called instead. We finally got Cian asleep around 10pm. We opened gifts and then I went to bed.
